At larger firms an engineer touches one piece of a job and passes it on. Here you scope the work, you run the work, and you put your seal on the report. The client knows your name from the first site visit to the last page. That kind of ownership is the whole point of working here.
Hard problems get solved across the table, not across a contract.
Building science, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical all sit in-house. When a file needs three disciplines, you walk down the hall instead of subcontracting it out. The answer comes back the same week, not the next month.
You put your seal on it, so you should run it.
Every report leaves this firm sealed by the engineer who did the work. That is a standard, not a formality. We back the people whose name goes on the page, and we expect them to stand behind it. If you want your judgment to count, it counts here.
